2019 Cuveé Lucia Semillon

This is our 3rd vintage of 100% Semillon and we are continuing to see the fruit gain more depth and complexity. This vintage shows off deep honeycomb and lemon notes. There is a minerality on the palate that creates a full-bodied yet elegant mid-palate. It has an enjoyable finish that is perceptible with or without a food pairing.

The 2019 Vintage was a relatively even growing season which started slightly later than normal. The summer months were marginally cooler than past few vintages which carried on into early fall. One of the markers for the vintage will be the consecutive cold snaps in October, forcing us to make quick picking decisions to avoid frost damage. In the end we did not see any frost damage or issues with our fruit.
