2019 Cuveé Lucia Sauvignon Blanc

This vintage shows off the range of flavors and aromas of Sauv Blanc that has full phenolic ripeness in a warm vintage. This vintage shows a much deeper lemon core with hints of tropical fruits. The addition of 25% Semillon gives the wine a richness and softness that makes this a very approachable wine.

The 2019 Vintage was a relatively even growing season which started slightly later than normal. The summer months were marginally cooler than past few vintages which carried on into early fall. One of the markers for the vintage will be the consecutive cold snaps in October, forcing us to make quick picking decisions to avoid frost damage. In the end we did not see any frost damage or issues with our fruit.
